This was the only country I always wanted go to no matter what. It was years ago before I started thinking about it but years ago was so different so in fact it was unreal to do it. well, things have changed and the time had come! I went to China. Fully equipped with camera, lenses, tripod (which I lost) and other 10kilo of stuff I decided to do trip of my life for the first time so far away and the best is: alone! It was the most amazing 20 days ever no doubt, but less than 20 days and that means I will have to go back there for sure (already theorizing)…
Appointed with set of CF cards (16+32)GB I could easily go as far as the limit of my 160GB back up drive I took with me. Ended having a little over 97GB of various material that came from my 7D including RAWs, JPGs and MOV clips – over 6800 files that I had to go trough each single one. Out of this there are 3455 JPGs and 198 MOV clips that I used to make a short clip that was uploaded at VIMEO:
Out of the rest of 3182 RAW files I selected 677, grouped, and uploaded to my gallery
…but this not all. still there are panoramic images to be completed at later stage
which are the most time consuming for me

Sunrise from Three Rock May 28th, 2011
So is it. My long expected walk to the Three Rock mountain to watch sunrise over the Irish coast.
Woke up at around 4AM to get there by 6AM. It was worth it!

Bull Island (Oileán an Tairbh in Irish) or more properly North Bull Island (Oileán an Tairbh Thuaidh in Irish) is an island located in Dublin Bay in Ireland, about 5 km long and 800 m wide, lying roughly parallel to the shore off Clontarf (including Dollymount), Raheny, Kilbarrack, and facing Sutton.
